What is Magic Cares?
Magic Cares is a holiday themed magic and comedy show that will entertain the whole family from age 2 to 102! We will amaze you with magic, have you laughing and leave you wondering, "How'd they do that"? Join us for one-of-a-kind magic, comedy, and illusions with a holiday twist! If we're good enough, maybe Santa will make a magical appearance!
Locally Produced
The producer of the show is magician Don Baggett, an Evansville native that has been performing magic since the age of 10. He has performed locally as well as all over the country for large corporations, schools and on cruise ships. He has recruited his son Brandon and magician friends from across the midwest to donate their time and talents to make this the best Magic Cares yet! Meet and Greet the cast of Magic Cares immediately following the show. The performers will autograph your programs and cool Magic Cares t-shirts (available for a donation to CASA).
A Worthy Cause
Magic Cares is a benefit for Vanderburgh County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). The Mission of Vanderburgh County CASA is to be a voice in court to ensure a safe home for abused and neglected children. These are all physically or sexually abused, neglected, or abandoned children who range in age from birth to eighteen years. To learn more visit our website www.vandcasa.com.

Don Baggett
Don Baggett has been performing magic in the Tri-State since the age of 10. His magic has taken him across the country performing for corporate events, comedy clubs, schools, zoos and theme parks. He has also made several television appearances, throughout the area, performing magic. Don would like to send a very special “THANK YOU”! This year’s performance will be the final appearance in Magic Cares for Don’s assistant, Whitney, his daughter. “Thank you Whit, for your undying help, support and love. I love you”. Brandon Baggett
Brandon Baggett is a second-generation magician following in the footsteps of his father. Brandon began performing magic at the age of 5 and hasn't looked back. In 2007 Brandon was the park magician for Six Flags St. Louis where he starred in his own one-man magic show. Brandon and his wife Brandi recently moved to Indianapolis where they are quickly becoming rising stars with a list of rapidly growing corporate clients! He would like to send out a very special “Thank you” to his sister Whitney Baggett who will be assisting him during the show.
Daniel Herron “The Balloon Guy”
Daniel has been creating balloons and twisting at fairs, festivals, and events for more than a decade. His craft has taken him from coast-to-coast and has landed him on television in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee on multiple occasions. Daniel is a true professional who loves to entertain and create! Sit back and enjoy a “unique form of MAGIC”!
Jason Hudy
Award-winning magician Jason Hudy has performed across the country for clients such as ESPN, Chevrolet, Six Flags and Lego. He recently performed on the national CBS program "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson". Jason averages 600 shows every year and he is very excited to be able to share his magic with "Magic Cares!" www.jasonhudy.com
Matt Jergens
International gold medalist juggler Matt Jergens has been making audiences laugh for over 18 years. Whether he’s performing on five-star cruise lines, in major theme parks, or at events across the country his high-energy performances are always a hit! Doug King
Doug King has been entertaining audience with magic since the age of 9. Doug is a family entertainment specialist. He performs all across Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana for schools, churches and camps. He holds memberships in the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Society of American Magicians, and the Association of Family and Kid Show Performers. Doug resides in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with his wife and two children.
Stephen Knowles
Stephen Knowles is an award-winning ventriloquist who has performed nightly at The Comedy Barn Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN for the last 13 years. He also has appeared on television, in theaters, and on cruise ships all over the world. Robert Sode
A veteran and legend in the magic community, Robert Sode's classical approach to magic is a delight for all. Watch him incorporate magic with doves and more! Robert, also an excellent children's magician, has entertained family audiences for years with stand up comedy magic at Denver's world-famous restaurant, Casa Bonita. Robert resides in Indianapolis and is making his first appearance at Magic Cares.
Tom Vorjohan - Host and MC
Tom just loves making people laugh! His performance contains a unique blend of comedy, magic, funny business, and audience participation. Starting at the age of 12, Tom was bitten by the “magic bug”. In the 33 years since his first paid show as a youth, he has taken his teenage hobby and made it an obsession as well as a full-time profession. This year he was awarded the prestigious Order of Merlin by The International Brotherhood of Magic. Tom resides in Knoxville, TN, but called the Evansville area “home” from 1990-1996.
